Projects caried out

UAB was the promoter of the "Smart people for smart cities! - Adaptation of study programs in the fields of applied electronics, computer science and environmental engineering to the requirements of the 21st century” Project, contract code POSDRU / 156 / 1.2 / G / 137166. The project aimed at strengthening cooperation between academia and business, for better correlation of higher education with the labor market by improving / adapting the study programs, respectively developing / adapting the university curriculum.

As specific objectives, we mention:

- Adaptation / improvement of 4 undergraduate study programs and the development / adaptation of university curriculum in the following fields: Computer Science, Environmental Engineering and Applied Electronics;

- Expanding learning opportunities and promoting innovation in higher education, by organizing and equipping two teaching laboratories, used as an educational tool in the teaching-learning activity at the level of the 4 adapted / improved study programs, called Smart City Lab and Smart Environment Lab .
