The aim of this project is to bring together scholarly contributions from theologians, researchers and academics in the field of Humanities. The forthcoming volume aims to provide a critical radiography of the Church's approach to war both in the past and in our contemporary world, in order to offer up-to-date answers and solutions to the context of our society. Among the questions we seek answers to are: (1) how valid is the Church's Byzantine war policy today? and (2) how does the Church react to modern warfare, which is waged not only in classic military manner, but also in economic, media, cyber dimensions, etc.?

The forthcoming volume will be published by a prestigious publishing house in Romania.

  • Series: Introduction in Liturgical Studies (coordinator: Mihail K. Qaramah)

The series Introduction to Liturgical Studies aims to publish didactic aids for students in theology who attend courses on the history of Christian liturgy, liturgical theology and ritual practice in Romanian Orthodox Theological Faculties. The aim of this academic endeavour is to provide syntheses of contemporary liturgical research on the most important themes of study of this fundamental theological discipline (the Eucharist, sacramental rites, liturgical year, lectionary, liturgy of the hours, etc.).
