Center of Inter-religious Research and Christian Psycho-pedagogy
The aim of the Centre is the research in the field of comparative theology and religious arts, aiming to combine theoretical research with practical applied research. The Centre aims to produce innovative and high quality research and to provide a socio-scientific perspective on the dynamics of Christian tradition both past and present. This is achieved through a series of research projects, academic collaborations, conferences, symposia, workshops, roundtables and academic publications. Research topics include, but are not limited to: Orthodox anthropology; the history and theology of Christian practices, rites and traditions; the identities, beliefs and values of Orthodox communities; the social, cultural and political implications of Christianity in contemporary societies; Christian art, literature and media; the challenges of ecumenical dialogue. The Centre also values interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with researchers in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities, but not limited to them.
