celebrating the Centennial during the last year, 2019 has started with
another major accomplishment of our country as we hold the rotating
Presidency of The Council of the
European Union. As a Higher Education Institution that has a strong
focus on internationalization, we are proud to organize international
events for our partners and students advancing the goals that the EU
has in education and research, especially through
the Erasmus+ Program and Horizon 2020.
In the last five years UAB has organized the
Exploratory Workshop - Internationalization of Higher Education: Challenges and Rewards, the only Romanian University Conference dedicated to the aim of
institutional ownership of the internationalization strategies
developed by HEIs, to mainstream these at the level of the institution,
by involving all the stakeholders
students, teaching and research staff, administrative staff within the
institution, as well as institutional partners and collaborators).
we recognize the importance of Pluriculturality and Plurilingualism for
and personal development of our students, the importance of
strengthening our cooperation with international partners and advancing
our common goals with regards to the internationalization of higher
education, our institution is proud to organize a week of
celebration and events that aim to achieve those goals.
internationalization policies are not designed to respond only to
University staff expectations,
we have decided that this year the International Week will be organized
with and for our International Students as well, which is why
the 6th UAB's Intercultural Youth Days Festival is a great venue to give our students a voice in the matter.
As such, we are honoured to invite you to the
9th Erasmus International Week for Staff Teaching and Training (6-10 May 2019),
the 6th UAB's Intercultural Youth Days Festival
and to be part of the sixth edition of the Exploratory Workshop - Internationalization of Higher Education: Challenges and Rewards (9-10 May 2019).
